(More customer reviews)This trimmer is a little bit small, and the guard is a little small also. It is a well balanced unit and seems light enough to use, esp as a trimmer. When you turn it over to use as a edger is is a little difficult and off balance then. Also, like they said, if you beat it up against cement or rocks the line does tend to break. If you just want to trim grass and weeds, it works great for that. But if you want to dig down into the dirt to burn out the weeds or grass, then you will need a bit of patience as it will not do the heavy duty stuff as good as the corded trimmers do. They want you to leave it on the charger and the charger is made to hang on the wall. It does not tend to stay pluged in if you just lean the unit against the wall and try to plug the charger base in with out first mounting the base to the wall. But you can charge it that way if your careful to make sure that the light comes on. I plan to keep & use this unit, but I will not get rid of my corded trimmer. They both then to have their place and what they are good at.
