(More customer reviews)I have been waiting for this bowl to come out in a metal version, as I don't want my dog eating out of plastic. Well worth the wait. The size is perfect for my 113lb dog. I feed him 1.5 cups of food, twice a day, and it fits in nicely. I am going to order a second one for my 65 lbs dog.
I like that it slides around a little bit, further slowing the eating process. What normally takes less than a minute for my dog to eat now takes quite a few minutes. I am pleasantly surprised that it slowed his eating down as much as it did.
Easy to clean. I hand wash b/c it is coated in Teflon and I don't want the D/W chipping it off.
Well worth the investment. It really does slow my dog down from eating too fast.
PS. For those worried about the teflon, the manufacturer has recoated the bowls with an antimicrobial enamel. They are also making the metal bowl in size small.
