(More customer reviews)I bought this trimmer to replace a Craftsman 40 CC trimmer which was so heavy. My requirements for a replacement trimmer were to be light and powerful.
I have done a lot of research and liked all the specification on this KTFR27A Kawasaki, it is supposed to be light (10 lbs), and with plenty of power (26 CC) and the price is very reasonable. The only problem for me was that there was no review on it here on Amazon or anywhere else on the internet. I really wanted to compare this one to the Echo and Hitachi but could not find any such comparison.
I found this Kawasaki at a local power tool shop which also sells Echo and decided to purchase it as the Echo was much more expensive ( for 26 CC).
Pros:
- Very easy to start. It starts on the second pull cold and first pull when it is warm.
- This trimmer is very light.
- This trimmer has plenty of power. Trimming my yard (I have a very long fence) was never so easy.
Cons:
- I can feel some vibration from trimmer when the throttle is on full power. I can understand this as an engineer as they try to cut down the weight so much, not enough mass to damp the vibration. However is not by all means disturbing to the overall operation of this trimmer.
This is a great trimmer, and I am very happy of this purchase, it also carries a 5 years warranty.
