(More customer reviews)The motor is strong...but too strong for the string. Every few seconds of operation, the string will break off on the spool inside the trimmer head where it cannot be bump-fed.
EVERY TIME this happens, the trimmer must be stopped, turned over, the spool cover pulled off, the reel taken out, the line reinserted into a holder on the spool and threaded through a hole in the cover, the spool and cover replaced, and the trimmer restarted. I almost never got the opportunity to bump feed the line since it was breaking so often, and spent more time rethreading the reel than trimming the lawn.
I rewound the reel with stronger line from another vendor in case the line that came with the unit was simply poor quality or old, but it still happened almost as often.
If this happened once every job that might be ok, but this was downright aggravating.
